FCOGP UPDATE

Hi,

Just to give some idea of what is happening:

I have a meeting with Tim Watson of NCC on Wednesday 12th and it seems I will be trying to explain a bit about how textiles works.

It’s no problem but necessary.

E.g. Tim asked about what we do if parts of a batch are separated from each other but my explanation is that:

a) we know what problems we can have if this happens so take good care to avoid it.

and

b) It’s so fundamental that we don’t think to include it in our FCOGP.

My explanation includes the simple fact that if we process and send back 4 rolls processed at different times then we are more likely to get customers complaining because the are all so different – leading to complaints and claims – just basics really.

I have also had a longer chat with Nick Kingett that was based on comparing what FIRA are doing and what the FCOGP is meant to do. His view certainly coincides very closely with mine!
