OPSS REVIEW DEBATE.

A ‘sketch’ of an idea for a proposal to the OPSS Review has been sent to a selection of our Group as a step in promoting debate.

It is clear that, in the absence of any sensible suggestions, we shall be offered something else. There are already signs that this Review is just as doomed as the last 3 and will probably result in a ‘no change’ scenario.

This will effectively dictate that areas where sensible change can be made will not receive any proper Review – and that has been a subject of the neglect of the last 25 years!

Part of the ‘reasoned thinking’ was the result of making the 2 videos shown below. They are offered here in a restricted way as they require a good deal of explanation to the ignorant masses and would suffer greatly from a lack of understanding.

It is clear that not every 100% polyester textile will give these results but we must reflect on offering a way to open up what the FFR offers in terms of alternate approaches without losing our intrinsic safety approach.
